Since 2008, Flutter UKI has donated over £6.5million to community sports clubs through the Cash4Clubs programme, helping thousands of people across the UK and Ireland by ensuring they have access to local sports and supporting the sustainability of clubs.

Sported is teaming up with Flutter UKI to deliver another round of the Cash4Clubs programme in 2025-26.

Small grants of £2000 (€2000 in Ireland) are available this autumn to support clubs and organisations that help keep adults engaged in sport, particularly in areas of need N.B Funding is available to groups that support over 18s only.

Flutter UKI has generously boosted the total grant pot to £500,000 this year – enabling us to reach even more groups.

What is Cash4Clubs?

Cash4Clubs is a small grants scheme for community sports clubs and organisations giving them a chance to apply for grants to improve facilities, purchase new equipment, gain coaching qualifications, or invest in the sustainability of their club.

The 2025 programme is focused on supporting adult participation in sport. Funding is available to groups that support over 18s only. The funding is unrestricted, meaning organisations are able to decide how best to use the grant to support their activities.

However, Cash4Clubs aims to get vital funds to clubs that need it most and as such, prioritises groups working in areas of high deprivation and engaging adults from specific under-represented groups. These groups include women, people from racially-diverse communities, people with disabilities and people from the LGBTQ+ community.

Who can apply?

Cash4Clubs is funded by Flutter UK & Ireland, part of Flutter Entertainment, the global sports betting, gaming and entertainment provider. For this reason, groups must only support adult members (18+) to be eligible for funding. You cannot apply if your organisation or club has junior members or runs any junior activities.

We welcome applications from not-for-profit organisations, including charities, community groups and traditional sports clubs and teams. To be eligible for funding, organisations applying must be clubs with a structured governance and constitution, registered charities, or companies without share capital.

Applicants must demonstrate that they are using sport for social purpose. Examples include: operating in communities facing disadvantage, engaging adults from under-represented groups and tackling issues such as crime and anti-social behaviour.
