iCommunity’s project Director Suzie Cahn was a panelist at the last Shared Island Dialogue of 2022 highlighting ‘Shared Island in Action’.
She spoke about how iCommunity’s first year of engagement uncovered a huge appetite to collaborate because of the impact of multiple converging challenges for the community & voluntary, and social enterprise sector. People in the sector north and south shared how partnering, sharing learning, approaches and solutions to emerging challenges is in their DNA as that is how they have always done cross-community work, integration of new communities, or responding to a crisis like COVID-19.
